Kurt Angle is backstage reading that mystery message from last week. Alexa Bliss startles him. Bliss wants him to congratulate her on retaining her title. Bliss says she’s here to help him. Last night, she proved Bayley doesn’t have what it takes to hold her title. Bayley is now in the past. Bliss says she wants to celebrate her life tonight. Tonight on Raw, it’ll be “Alexa Bliss: This Is My Life.” Angle says that’s a terrible idea because her segment last week was one of the worst in the history of Raw. Angle says she promised a title match to Nia Jax, so he’ll hold her to it. Tonight, she’s putting the title on the line against Nia Jax. Bliss is stunned.
Sasha Banks is backstage with Mickie James and Dana Brooke. Alexa Bliss walks up and tries to be nice, but Banks walks off on her. Bliss gets James and Brooke to hold back. She says it’s unfair that Nia Jax is getting a shot over them. Brooke has improved a lot, and James is a legend in this division. Bliss says they have a Nia Jax problem. If they don’t stand together, their division and sisterhood won’t be the same. Brooke says they don’t have a Nia Jax problem… Bliss does. James says they’ll be at ringside to watch her deal with her problem all by herself. They walk off while Bliss looks worried.
Mike Rome introduces Alexa Bliss. Bliss looks very worried. Bliss says she deserves better treatment than she’s getting from the Raw Women’s Division.
Raw Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax
Bliss tries to beg Nia Jax off at the sound of the bell. Mickie James and Dana Brooke make their way to ringside. Bliss avoids Jax and tries to beg her way out. Jax grabs her by the hair, and Bliss slaps her in the face. Jax throws her across the ring. Jax throws her again, and Bliss goes to the corner. Jax avalanches her down. Bliss tries to jump on her back for a sleeper hold, but Jax pulls her off and hits a pair of elbow drops. Bliss quickly boots her back, but Jax avalanches her. Bliss rolls out of the ring to recover. She cRawls in front of Mickie James and Dana Brooke. Bliss shoves them, and James forearms her. That gets Jax disqualified.
Winner: Alexa Bliss via Disqualification
Bliss is busted open on her lip with a big gash. Jax shoves James and Brooke away and puts Brooke in the ring. Jax hits James and Brooke again before getting in the ring. Bliss escapes the ring. Jax head-butts and elbows James and Brooke. Jax avalanches James in the corner before giving Brooke a Samoan Drop.
Out comes Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. She hypes the Kendo Stick on a Pole Match with Bayley on Sunday and pokes fun at Bayley for probably trying to hug the kendo stick. Bliss goes on about how soft Bayley is and says she had to dig deep to find out who Bayley really was. She introduces “This Is Your Life” and focuses on the table full of various items from Bayley’s life. We also see an older woman in the ring with a younger woman and younger man on the opposite side of the table. Bliss starts mocking some of the items on the table, including a trophy and a yearbook. Bliss introduces the older woman next, 4th grade teacher Mrs. Flapper. The teacher talks about how Bayley was such a good student. Bayley sat in the front row with her dad. Her dad was there because Bayley cried when she was apart from him.
Bliss introduces the younger woman next, Bayley’s childhood best friend Tracy Avalina. She talks about how they were good friends until Bayley never wanted to hang out because she’d rather watch Raw or SmackDown. The young man is Bayley’s ex-boyfriend, Phil Johnson. He says Bayley was a nice girl. Bliss wants to know about the first date. Phil says it was okay but kind of strange because her dad was always there. He says they almost had a moment one night where they were going to kiss. His eyes were closed but nothing happened. He opened eyes and there was her father. Phil says he only dated Bayley because he wanted to get close to Tracy. Tracy can’t believe it. She always thought Phil was out of her league but she always liked him. Tracy and Phil kiss as Bliss calls them disgusting. Bliss says this, this is Bayley’s life.
The music hits and out comes Bayley. She rushes into the ring but Bliss stomps on her. Bayley comes back and gets the upperhand. Bliss decks her with a right hand. Bayley with a suplex. Bayley smiles and points up at the kendo stick on a pole. Bayley climbs up in the corner for the kendo stick but Bliss cuts her off. Bliss picks up the kendo stick and smacks Bayley in the back with it, sending her out to the floor. Bliss stands tall with the kendo stick as her music plays.
Charly Caruso is backstage with Alexa Bliss. She mentions she’ll be facing Bayley at Extreme Rules in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match. Footage is shown of Bliss hitting Bayley with a kendo stick last week on RAW. Photos are shown of the welt on Bayley’s back. Bliss says she doesn’t feel bad. The sound of the stick hitting her flesh makes her salivate. If Bayley thought she was in pain last week, that was nothing. At Extreme Rules, she’ll make sure her body is tattooed in welts. Bayley must be planning her revenge, but that won’t happen. Bayley can’t get extreme. Tonight, she’ll do to Mickie James what she’s going to do to Bayley at Extreme Rules: turn her dreams into nightmares.
Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James
They circle the ring and lock up. They trade waistlocks before James shoves her. They lock up again, and Bliss stomps her down in the corner. James comes back with some kicks and a pair of flying forearms. James hits a neckbreaker for a two count. James connects with some crossfaces and a running kick. James elbows her back and goes for a hurricanrana, but Bliss fights it. Bliss viciously punches her down and hits a DDT for the win.
Winner: Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss lifts up the apron, but there’s nothing there. She moves over and finally finds a kendo stick. Bliss then viciously cracks James in the back with the stick. Bayley runs down and takes her down. Bayley lifts up the stick, but Bliss escapes the ring. Bliss looks fearful. Bayley then helps James up.
Back from the break and out comes Sasha Banks. Cole says we were expecting RAW Women’s Champion Bayley but got The Boss instead. Sasha takes the mic and says she has some unfinished business but first she wants the fans to help her introduce your girl and her best friend, Bayley. The music hits and out comes the RAW Women’s Champion. Bayley thanks Sasha for the introduction. She then thanks the fans for always being there. She says the 12 year old her would not have had her WrestleMania moment if it weren’t for the fans. There appears to be a mixed reaction. She thanks fans for believing in her. Sasha says WrestleMania didn’t go as she planned but she wanted to come out and congratulate Bayley on the biggest moment of her career. But that moment is over. Sasha is out here to ask for the WWE… the music interrupts and out comes Alexa Bliss. She is now on RAW.
Bliss gets a pop as she marches to the ring. She knocks Sasha and Bayley for their nauseating exchange. Bliss says she’s the only one here that deserves recognition for putting an end to the sideshow between Sasha and Bayley. Bliss reminds us she’s a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion and announces that she’s come to RAW. She’s excited to put the SmackDown drama behind her and do what she does best – win and dominate. The music interrupts Bliss as Mickie James makes her way out. She is also joining the red brand. Mickie announces she’s back and cuts a promo on everyone in the ring. She makes it to ringside but Nia Jax comes from behind and floors her. Nia enters the ring. Bliss pushes Sasha into Nia. Sasha gets dumped to the floor. Bayley ends up taking a Samoan Drop from Nia. Bliss retreats. Nia stands over Bayley with the title and says this is hers. Nia drops the title over Bayley and leaves as her music hits. We see Mickie and Sasha laid out at ringside. Nia stops at Bliss on the ramp and stares her down before marching to the back. Bliss laughs at Bayley in the ring.
